We are looking forward to hosting another fantastic week of VBS and are in need of many volunteers. Last year over 450 kids participated and we are expecting even more this year! Volunteer registration for VBS started Sunday, May 31 and is located between the FCC Library and the Nursery Check-In. Jacques le Croc is next to the table ready to greet you - you can't miss it! Sign up and be part of this exciting week of bringing Christ into the lives of the children of FCC and our community.
Here are some different ways you can volunteer:
1) Volunteers who want to build relationships with kids would be great
Classroom Leaders. These leaders travel with the kids from station to station. They get to experience the entire VBS just like the kids! If this is your first time volunteering at VBS, this is a great place to see everything the week has to offer!
(The Classroom Leader is our biggest need.)2) Volunteers can also help with
snacks, crafts, games or story telling. These volunteers will interact with kids, but will be more involved in accomplishing the specific task in that room.
3) Do you enjoy decorating? You can volunteer to come
decorate the building the week prior to VBS (July 27 - August 1). Dates and times for decorating will be posted later.

The directors got "swamped" because the kids raised over $2,500 for East Central Illinois Youth for Christ. We collected enough money to help the shelter supply resources for single moms and their babies.
